Lama Jampa Thaye teaches in Manchester

At the weekend, Lama Jampa Thaye taught Patrul Rinpoche's famous work, The Heart Treasure of the Enlightened Ones. The event was hosted by Kagyu Ling in Manchester and was attended by students from across the UK and overseas.
This remarkable text delineates the view, meditation and action of Dzokchen, the most profound system of spiritual practice in the Nyingma tradition. Lama Jampa concluded the weekend by bestowing the initiation of Chenrezik from the lineage of Mingyur Dorje.

Lama Jampa Thaye visits Colne
On Tuesday 12th May Lama Jampa Thaye visited Colne to give a public talk to mark the 21st anniversary of Kagyu Dzong, the area's oldest Buddhist group. Seventy people attended the event, set in Colne’s Municipal Hall. In his inspiring talk Lama Jampa conveyed the essence of the Buddhist path with clarity.This event was the third public talk that Lama Jampa has given in the North this year and was an auspicious occasion to celebrate this anniversary.

On Saturday June 13th and Saturday October 3rd, Lama Jampa will now be teaching the Seven Points of Mind Training all day in Bristol. This is due to the detailed nature of the commentary by Geshe Se Chilbupa, which Lama Jampa has not taught before, and the importance of the lojong teachings.

Teachings in Stuttgart and European news
Lama Jampa Thaye travelled to Germany for the May bank holiday weekend to visit Sakya Dechen Ling in Stuttgart. On the Saturday and Sunday morning, Lama Jampa gave a detailed exposition of the key mind training text, Geshe Langri Thangpa's Eight Verses of Mind Training. On the Sunday afternoon he bestowed the initiation of White Manjushri from the lineage of Mati Panchen. The course was attended by around twenty five people and was extremely well received. This is the second time this year that Lama Jampa has visited Germany, his next European visit will be to Sakya Choling in Bulgaria at the end of this month where he will also be bestowing the initiation of White Manjushri. In addition, it has just been confirmed that the Bulgarian translation of Way of Tibetan Buddhism, Lama Jampa's comprehensive introductory work, will be launched at this time. More details will follow shortly.
